Your first IPPT at an FCC can feel a little intimidating, especially when you don’t know where to report, what to bring, or how the testing process works. You might be wondering whether you need to book in advance, how early you should arrive, or what happens if you fail. he process is fairly straightforward…
The NSman Lifecycle Summary The NSman Lifecycle starts after ORD and continues through ORNS, ICT, Manning, IPPT, NS FIT, MR, and M-Day. To manage it well, NSmen should understand their 10 ICT cycles, complete SAF Training Year requirements properly, plan fitness around High Key years, respect Low Key ICTs, take Manning seriously, track their birthday-based…
For a working NSman, the main thing to know is that IPPT issues can usually be managed legally if you act early and follow the correct process. Missing one booked session is not the same as defaulting your yearly requirement, a civilian MC is only useful after you upload it in OneNS for official endorsement,…
Pre-enlistee IPPT can help PES A and B1 recruits skip PTP and save 8 weeks of full-time NS, but only if they score at least 61 points with at least 1 point in each station: sit-ups, push-ups, and the 2.4km run, which matters most because it carries 50 of the 100 total points. Your result…
As your booking gets closer and the clock ticks down, even well-prepared guys can feel the nerves, no matter how solid their training has been with the IPPT Calculator and planned reps. From what I have seen at the FCC (Fitness Conditioning Centre), a man who can do 60 push-ups in training can still get…
Introduction For many Servicewomen, Female IPPT Singapore is more than a simple physical test because it reflects real combat fitness, daily training, and the serious work needed to stay at peak levels during outfield training. From my experience, many female trainees and ladies get stuck when searching online for official websites that clearly show scoring…
The Annual Fitness Ritual When that phone buzzes with the annual text message telling you to book your window, the pressure feels real, especially for an active Regular in camp or a busy NSman balancing work, family, and the yearly requirement. From what I have seen, that small moment brings instant stress, and then the…
After 15 years of training for IPPT at Bedok Stadium, Maju FCC, and Kranji Camp, I have seen that the 2.4km run is not only about fitness. It is a mental game too. This distance feels awkward because it is too long to sprint and too short to relax jog, so many guys suffer even…
The ELISS Headache With 15 years of coaching, I have seen many trainees do 50 push-ups in gyms and walk into test day with a good mood, only to look at the screen and see 30, and that is where the ELISS machine becomes a real headache in IPPT because gym push-ups often reward effort…
The sit-ups dissection After watching thousands of soldiers take the IPPT, I can say the sit up station is the ultimate point stealer at this station. A person can be physically fit and still fail to get the points they deserve because the machine, ELISS, does not care how hard you are trying. It only…
